After the record-breaking success of UFC 193 headlined by Ronda Rousey and Holly Holm, all eyes are set on the next big pay-per-view event in the world of mixed martial arts. It’s going to be Jose Aldo against Conor McGregor in a battle for supremacy in the featherweight division.
This dream matchup was supposed to happen months ago in Las Vegas in UFC 189. It was heavily promoted and the interest was high. Unfortunately, Aldo got a rib injury just weeks before the scheduled bout which forced him on the sidelines as he recuperated.
Now healthy and eager to continue, Jose Aldo is ready for glory in the octagon. He is still the champ and is more than happy to prove that he deserves the belt. The 29-year old is considered as pound-for-pound one of the best fighters in the world thanks to his impressive skills in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.
On the other hand, Conor McGregor is keen to prove doubters wrong. He was already won the Interim Championship belt and now this notorious Irishman is looking to take another step up the ladder. McGregor has an equally impressive MMA record and a wealth of skills to draw on. Watch out for UFC 194 on December 12.
