During scrambles for position you can find yourself in the top of turtle (head to head) position. There are a number of attacks and this variation of the loop choke is a reliable attack that I have been successful with for many years.
Here’s a tip: do not try to grip too deeply. You will be unable to wind the collar grip without hurting your own wrist.
