This Tuesday, October 16, marks the final day of enrollment for the 2018 SJJIF World Jiu-Jitsu Championship, which will take place this month from the 26th through the 28th at the Long Beach Arena in California. Featuring contests across all weight divisions, ranks and age groups, the event is accepting last-minute entries at www.sjjif.org or in the direct link here.
The list of fighters who have confirmed they will participate includes big names from the international circuit like Gustavo “Braguinha” and Kaynan Duarte of Atos, Samir Chantre (Ares BJJ), Nathiely de Jesus (Unity) and Bellator’s Talita Treta (Level Up).
The 2018 SJJIF World Jiu-Jitsu Championship will also host tournaments in parajiu-jitsu and for the deaf. A clip has been put together highlighting the inclusive nature of the event, which you can watch below.
