If you’ve been doing Brazilian jiu-jitsu for so much as a month, you’ve no doubt heard someone tell you that “age is just a number.”
There’s a good reason people say that, too. While strength does matter in the grappling arts, an older, weaker fighter can win a fight if he has enough of a skill advantage over his younger opponent. As someone who has had his butt handed to him by many grey-haired BJJ black belts, I can attest to this.
The old wrestler in this video is yet another piece of evidence that you should never underestimate an older opponent.
