The winners of the New York Fall Open

Michael Remigio Liera from Atos taking the win over Felipe Cesar Silva from Unity.

It feels like Winter in NY as this whole side of the US got hit with a major snowstorm which left some folks doing more shoveling than Jiu-Jitsu. The heat got turned up at the basements of City College, where the NY Fall Open takes place. The great winner of the day was Michael Liera, from Atos, who won the absolute and the gold in the middleweight division.

The folks from master 1 didn’t want to be outshone and put out some great visual and exciting matches with Leonardo de Oliveira taking the big win in the open class.

Leonardo de Oliveira from Soul Fighters takes the win over Juan Iturralde from BJJ Globetrotters.
