Known for his speedy submissions, Moldavia’s Eldar Rafigaev has struck again in Europe. Fighting in the ultra-heavyweight division at the Paris Open, he faced Paulo da Silva in the final, and a transition to a foot lock dashed Paulo’s hopes in under 30 seconds.
After pulling with no grips and being penalized, Eldar pulled again and landed on half-guard. With a firm grip on the collar and pants, he unbalanced his opponent and projected him, landing on the other side already in position to attack with the winning foot lock.
