An ADCC champion son of Rickson Gracie, Kron Gracie is the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s newest featherweight.
After weeks of speculation, Dana White confirmed in an interview with ESPN that a deal has indeed been reached with the BJJ star.
A Rio de Janeiro native living in the U.S., Kron will be welcomed in the Octagon by Alex Caceres at UFC 233, which is scheduled to take place Jan. 26 in Anaheim, California.
With an undefeated record of four wins (an armbar, a triangle and two chokes), Kron is looking at the challenge of debuting in the UFC after a two-year hiatus, given that he last fought in December 2016 under Rizin. Caceres’s (14w, 11l, 1nc) last engagement brought him a split-decision win last July.
The post Kron Gracie signs with the UFC, will debut in January against a veteran first appeared on Graciemag.
