We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: police officers need to learn how to grapple. Whether it’s judo, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, or wrestling, learning how to take an opponent down and keep him or her down without using lethal force is imperative for the safe and effective enforcement of the law.
Had the police officer in the video below known that, things might have turned out differently for him. Luckily, he had his buddies with him.
