St-Pierre and the RNC that put Bisping to sleep at UFC 217

At UFC 217, held last Saturday at New York’s Madison Square Garden, Georges St-Pierre returned to the Octagon in style. After nearly four years away from the cage, the former welterweight champion faced Michael Bisping for the middleweight belt, and his jiu-jitsu was put to use.

GSP took the fight to the ground at the start of round 3 via single-leg. Bisping responded with good activity with his back on the canvas, and got back up, but a powerful cross by the Canadian knocked him down, and Bisping wound up with GSP on his back. From there, St-Pierre applied the winning choke, which Bisping did not tap out to — so lights out it was. The win puts GSP in the company of Randy Couture, BJ Penn and Conor McGregor as a champion of two weight classes in the UFC.

You can check out his technique in this video.
