ADCC medalist Rousimar Palhares and Sergio Moraes will be taking on their next big MMA challenge this Friday as they prepare for their Taura MMA debuts.
Both fighters are UFC veterans, and this time around, Palhares will be facing off against Antonio Gordillo, with Moraes testing himself against Jared Revel. Both fights will be featured on the main card of the evening.
Palhares is a controversial competitor, having been penalized multiple times in his career for excessive force in his fights. Last year, he went up against Gordon Ryan at the World Jiu-Jitsu Festival, and now, it looks like he’ll be back to fighting in the cage for the time being. His last MMA win was in 2017 — a heel hook victory against Alexei Ivanov.
Moraes was released from the UFC after three consecutive losses, but boasts a number of impressive wins against major fighters like Davi Ramos and Neil Magny.
Taura MMA 10 will take place on Friday, October 23.
