Instead of shining the spotlight primarily on Ronda Rousey, the new edit provides much more balance between the two contestants and spends a little more time on their respective, and very different, backgrounds.
In that regard, what plays out is a perfect metaphor for the concept behind MMA, in that the upcoming bout brings together all the precision of classic martial arts mixed with all the passion and intensity of a street fighter. It ought to be a good one.
