Roger Gracie looks like he’s about to have the toughest challenge since making his MMA debut, with four fights and four submission finishes.
Shortly after his latest win, against Trevor Prangley on January 29, Gegard Mousasi was offered to the three-time absolute Jiu-Jitsu world champion. The offer was made while still in the dressing room and was immediately accepted by the Gracie.
Mousasi, who has wins over the likes of Renato Babalu and Melvin Manhoef on his record, has also already beaten an old rival of Roger’s, Ronaldo Jacaré. The two faced off in the final of the Dream middleweight GP, in 2008. Rewatch how it went:
