The latest clip from the 10-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Champion Roger Gracie urges young jiu-jitsu practitioners to act more humbly after winning matches. Gracie said that if you win a match by a advantage, you’re not that much better than your opponent. It’s actually possible that your opponent is better since they didn’t back down from a challenge that they knew they wouldn’t win. Beating up on weaker opposition doesn’t prove much for competitors who allegedly have a strong set of skills to draw on.
