Roger Gracie teaches a kimura defense with a finish on the arm

Roger shows a resource for when an opponent employs a kimura.

A neat trick always up his sleeve, Roger Gracie brings today a counter against a guard player trying to submit you via kimura.

In the lesson, produced by our friends over at the Dojjo channel, Roger shows his simple antidote for the attack. With his weight over his opponent, Roger, as he perceives the danger of the kimura, postures and changes his base towards the other fighter’s shoulder.

Then, already in posture, Roger seeks his own hand to make the grip and applies the beginning of the lever, turning his arm toward the opposite side of the attack, placing his opponent in the lock position.

Check out the legend’s refined technique below and surprise your training partners on the mat tomorrow.
