Rodrigo Caporal is the kind of black belt who has faith in his style when doing MMA, and on the 3rd of November, in China, he used his technique to tap out yet another opponent, at the sixth iteration of the RUFF event.

Facing Thai fighter Arthit Hanchana, he used an arm-triangle to wrap up thefight 1:48 minutes into the third round. This latest victory marks Caporal’s fourth in a row.

“I managed to keep up the pace the whole time. I already knew Hanchana was really good on his feet; that’s why I did my game: I closed the distance and took him down and finished him with a position I do a lot—the arm-triangle,” Rodrigo told GRACIEMAG.com.

“Now, I’ll fight next in January, in the RUFF final, for the lightweight belt. I’m really pleased about getting a shot at the title. I’d like to thank God for always being with me, my family and all my students, who are always helping me in training. And thanks goes out to GRACIEMAG.com, too, for always getting the word out on what we do,” Caporal said in closing.
