Many mixed martial arts fans are excited as black belt jiu-jitsu fighter Rodolfo Vieira signs with Real Fight Championship for MMA debut. Vieira’s new contract calls for him to enter this sport during the autumn of 2016. However, details on the first match remain scarce.
An exact date for the fight has yet to be established, and the RFC has not revealed an opponent. Vieira plans to undergo hip surgery before the Japanese mixed martial arts competition takes place. This medical operation will be completed at a hospital in his home country of Brazil.
To prepare for the switch to MMA, Rodolfo Vieira intends to spend some time in the United States after he travels to this country in February. He will train for the upcoming event with the American Top Team.
Vieira entered Brazilian jiu-jitsu in 2002 and achieved fame about seven years later. He won multiple world, European, Pan-American and Brazilian championships between 2011 and 2014.
