Rodolfo Vieira is getting ready for the three most important tournaments in 2015. The 2011 black belt open class world champion will be present at the WPJJC, the World championship and the ADCC, as he told GRACIEMAG.
“The WPJJC, Worlds and ADCC are my main goals this year. I got the invitation to compete at the ADCC in August, but still haven’t made my mind. It’s something I really want to do and I hope can.”
The man with the most efficient top game in today’s competition circuit is healing from a lower back injury. “I had this back injury and hardly couldn’t move, but I’m better now and back to training hard to compete.”
Four times world champion in his weight division and an IBJJF hall of famer, Rodolfo admits he is already thinking of moving on to new challenges. That means going head on into an MMA career in 2016.
“I’ll make up my mind after this year’s World championship. I have other plans and also I want to heal the injuries I have been carrying for some time. I’m not sure I’ll be around to compete at the 2016 Worlds.”
