After suffering in the first half of the opening round at UFC Vegas 72 , this Saturday night, BJJ legend Rodolfo Vieira was close to being knocked out, but he resisted.
In the second round, Cody Brundage even placed a guillotine choke on the Brazilian and pulled guard. In the sequence, the Jiu-Jitsu legend worked on the ground, and was able to place the rear-naked choke and secured the victory by submission.
With the win, Rodolfo secures another again in the company after a setback to Chris Curtis in mid-2022. So far, for the UFC, he has are four wins and two losses.
