Kyra Gracie has announced the passing of her grandfather, Robson Gracie, Sr., who was 88 years old. Robson was the father of Renzo, Ryan, and Ralph Gracie. He was one of the few living jiu-jitsu practitioners to hold the rank of red belt. Additionally, he held the distinction of serving as president of the Jiu-Jitsu Federation of Rio de Janeiro.
Robson is survived by over eleven children and multiple grandchildren.
