Cerrone had a similar journey, enjoying a four-win streak until his TKO loss to Jorge Masvidal in January. Both men are eager to go back to their winning ways. The two were initially scheduled to fight last November, but Lawler withdrew to get more recovery time. UFC 213 will also feature the heavyweight clash between Heavyweight Champion Fabricio Werdum and challenger Alistair Overeem.
