The Rio BJJ Pro is the first IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu tournament in Brazil that will give money prizes to the winners. Scheduled for November 15-16th in Rio de Janeiro, the championship’s registration is now open. The professional league will distribute 40 000 Brazilian Reais in prizes, what is equivalent to almost 20 000 US Dollars in cash and it promises to bring together the best fighters in the sport at the Tijuca Tennis Club.

Blue to brown belt, adult and master, all contestants can register normally. However to compete in the black belt, the fighter must have at least 20 points in the IBJJF black belt ranking. If that is your case, sign up now!
Among the black belts and champions that have already confirmed their presence are Bia Mesquita (Gracie Humaita), Fernanda Mazzelli (Striker), Léo “Smudge” Saggioro (BTT), Erick Raposo (Soul Fighters) and Abraham Mars (Yamasaki), among others.
