Dillon Danis may have speculated that his match with Garry Tonon at Polaris would not go down, but thankfully for grappling fans everywhere, he was wrong.
Dillon Danis vs Garry Tonon will still go down on August 19th in London.

No love has been lost between these two big-name fighters, either. Danis had quite a bit to say about Tonon and his fellow Renzo Gracie students during an appearance on the The MMA Hour. He referred to them as “pussies” and told host Ariel Helwani that he would fight Tonon anywhere, even in the street.
This was something many of Renzo’s students — including Tonon’s coach, Tom DeBlass — did not take kindly to.
As could be expected, Tonon sounded off in kind, referring to Danis as “Goldylocks” and promising to fight him at whatever weight class he wanted.
The animosity between these two will certain make their match a fight worth remembering… maybe even more than their first match.
