GRACIEMAG.com was present in Hollywood, CA on Saturday for a noon No-Gi training session with Paragon’s Milton Bastos. A light featherweight champion in No-Gi as well as a long-time wrestler, Milton has many moves to show sans kimono.
He normally teaches with his professor, Ricardo “Franjinha” Miller in Ventura, CA but travels along the coast often as a substitute teacher of sorts. This time he found himself at the academy located most south of headquarters, giving you an exclusive look at an old school technique.
Here, Milton teaches a guard pass when you have taken your opponent down, or are entering their guard, and you are locked in half guard. This type of pass is used when your opponent is very strong.
