It’s confirmed. Anyone who accesses the official UFC website can even see the photo of Rogério Minotouro on the card for UFC 109, to take place February 6 in Las Vegas. His adversary is Brandon Vera.
Minotouro is riding a six-fight winning streak. The last win came in his UFC debut, a surprising first-round knockout of Luis Banha. At the other end, Brandon Vera is coming off a setback in his fight with Randy Couture, at UFC 105. The hitch is that Vera often trains with members of Minotauro Team like Anderson Silva, among others.
Beyond Minotouro, three other Brazilians are set to fight on the same card. Paulo Thiago will offer Josh Koscheck a chance for revenge for the knockout he suffered, Demian Maia will be looking to recover his winning form after his first career loss against Dan Miller and Ronys Torres will finally make his debut for the organization against Melvin Guillard.
