Actor and BJJ blue belt Mario Lopez recently talked to The View about the upcoming Saved by the Bell reboot, but that’s probably not why you’re here, is it?
Lopez’s interview was conducted virtually over video call, and apparently, that meant that he got to schedule it immediately after a BJJ training session. A sweaty Lopez was still sitting on the mats at Gracie Barra Glendale in his training gear when the interview began, and it didn’t take long for the subject to turn to his jiu-jitsu journey.
Lopez, who trains with his Saved by the Bell co-star Mark-Paul Gosselaar, told the hosts about how he first got his son into jiu-jitsu. Before long, he also decided to take it up, and it’s been a passion of his ever since. He was even in attendance at last year’s ADCC.
