The UFC’s most decorated women’s jiu-jitsu star, Mackenzie Dern, will be fighting former strawweight champion Jessica Andrade on November 11 in Madison Square Garden at UFC 295, where Andrade looks to tie up the record for most UFC fights in a single year, per MMA Junkie. Andrade is currently one of the most active fighters on the current UFC fighter, having already taken four fights in 2023 alone. Facing Dern in November will almost make her the most active female fighter on the roster, period.
However, Andrade’s high levels of activity in the cage hasn’t necessarily equated to success in the Octagon. The former strawweight queen has been finished three times in a row in her last three fights, twice by submission, and one by knockout. Dern, by contrast, is riding the high of a dominant Fight of the Night performance against Angela Hill back in May.
The card will be headlined by a heavyweight title fight, where Jon Jones will defend his new belt against Stipe Miocic.
