Lovato debuts in Bellator with quick KO win

World BJJ champion Rafael Lovato Jr. had a great performance in his first-ever fight under contract with Bellator. Lovato needed just 13 seconds to dispatch Charles Hackmann with a knockout. After landing a high kick that shook his opponent, Lovato ended it with a sequence of knees that was swiftly cut short by the ref. This is the undefeated Lovato’s sixth consecutive win in MMA.

Bellator 174 took place last night at the WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Okla., and had featherweights Marloes Coenen and Julia Budd face off in its main bout. Budd walked out with the belt following a round-4 knockout.
