A clash of black belt titans is about to go down at IBJJF Worlds. Leandro Lo, Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida, Beatriz Mesquita, and Nathiely de Jesus are among the major names which made it through the fire to the open class finals, knocking out names like Keenan Cornelius, Jessica Flowers, Joao Gabriel, and more en route to tomorrow’s championship.
Six-time champion Lo squares off against Buchecha, who also has a half-dozen golds to his name. De Jesus, a five-time champion, faces four-time champ Mesquita.
Worlds continues June 2 in in Long Beach, California, at the Walter Pyramid.
