Kron Gracie among giants. That would be a good title for an article on the Rickson Cup, held last Saturday in Kawasaki, Japan. Kron, son of the man, was crowned absolute champion after a rough, and heavy, encounter: black belt Karim Byron. Besides Byron, another, Japanese, giant was there to bring the crowd to its feet.
Bráulio Estima, Rafael Mendes, Gui Mendes, and Shane Rice rounded out the sweet Jiu-Jitsu lesson the Japanese crowd was treated to. The photos are by our indefatigable John Lamonica.
