Half of the eight spots in the IBJJF’s upcoming no-gi GP have now been filled. The tourney, scheduled for Aug. 24 in Vegas, is going to feature sitting absolute world BJJ champion Leandro Lo, the federation said this Monday.
Leandro, which is a six-time world champion in the gi, also has a no-gi Brazilian title and Worlds runner-up finish. Now he joins Marcus Buchecha, Gordon Ryan and Lucas Hulk in the competition that will give its champion 40,000 dollars and its runner-up 10,000.
