Late film star of the multimillion dollar grossing Fast and Furious franchise Paul Walker discusses his love for Gracie Jiu Jitsu in a recently resurfacing interview. Unbeknownst to many, Walker was an avid practitioner and lover of the sport.

His experience with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) started when he experienced watching the UFCa and in particular the Gracie’s in the UFC. He thought the sport was very cool and started training with Ricardo “Franjinha” Miller at Paragon (a BJJ/MMA school located in Santa Barbara). Among the many things Walker says he enjoys about BJJ are the competitive nature of the sport, the flexibility it affords him as well as the fact that it simply keeps him in great overall shape and incorporates features relevant to other sports he already loves, like surfing
