The Brazilian National Jiu-Jitsu Championship is coming up Friday at Rio de Janeiro’s Grajaú Country Club. The gentle-art tournament with the most tradition of all will take place across five days divided over two weekends. The first weekend will feature the white belts (Brasileiro de Estreantes tournament) and blue and purple belts from peewees to seniors, male and female, and the second weekend is when the brown and black belts enter the scene.
Sign-ups for the brown and black belt divisions are still open, but the registration window closes on April 26.
GREAT DANE IN THE ABSOLUTE MIX
Names like Rômulo Barral, Yan Cabral, Bernardo Faria and Denmark’s Alexander Trans will be there, not to mentions the beasts of the master and senior contest: Alan Moraes, Admilson Brites, Bruno Ximenes, Alex Chaves, Burton Deyves e Francelino Gonçalves.
