Kushti Wrestling In Pakistan, fighters battle in the dirt for pride and keeping a traditional sport alive

Kushti wrestling in Pakistan is a popular sport. Sadly, it does not get the attention, and support that it deserves. Kushti or wrestling is taught in the villages of the country. Students train hard and coaches work alongside with focused dedication. A conventional training workout includes performing as many as 3,000 sit-ups and 2,000 push-ups, every day. The sport is said to have as many as 100 moves and 100 counter moves. A master sportsman must master them all to overcome his opponent. Kushti wrestling in Pakistan is a dying sport, one that requires the support of the government, and the public as well.
