The highly anticipated fight between Khamzat Chimaev and Gerald Meerschaert was over in seconds with essentially one punch.
Chimaev spent the first few seconds of the fight pressuring Meerschaert to the outside of the Octagon. Then, he threw a right hand and immediately knocked Meerschaert to the ground, the referee stepping in to prevent further damage.
The fight was over in seventeen seconds, with Chimaev not even breaking a sweat.
With the win, Chimaev improved his record to 9-0.
