Kevin Lee Accepts Dillon Danis’ Challenge For A No-Time-Limit, Sub-Only Match For $100k

It appears that Kevin Lee and Dillon Danis’ beef will be (at least temporarily) settled on the mats.

Lee had previously made comments on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show that seemed to call Danis’ grappling abilities into question, saying that the two had rolled together at Robert Drysdale’s gym and implying that he wasn’t impressed by Danis. The whole interview can be found here.

Danis apparently got wind of Lee’s comments and made a post on Twitter challenging the MMA fighter to a high-stakes sub-only match:

Lee didn’t back down and replied to Danis’ challenge with just two words:

So far, no details have been revealed on where, when, or if this match will actually happen, but since both men appear to be eager to have the chance to prove themselves, we’ll keep our fingers crossed that this is more than just social media trash-talking.

The Jiu-Jitsu Times will provide updates to this story as they become available.
