Julianna Pena became the first woman to win The Ultimate Fighter. Her last three matches in the UFC have resulted in victories. In fact, she’s considered a contender for the bantamweight title. In report from MMA Fighting she recently chose to get into a fight outside of a Spokane, Washington, bar for whatever reason. The brawl led to her being arrested for assault along with another person. Before too long, she posted $2,000 bail and walked out of the jail.
Neither Pena nor the UFC gave comments surrounding the situation, which is understandable. Of course, a professional fighter getting into a fight outside of the octagon comes with consequences. After Julianna Pena arrested on assault charges after allegedly fighting outside a bar, what’s next for the fighter? She probably won’t face consequences in the UFC, but the same can’t be said for outside of it. Prison time is unlikely; fines and community service are on the table, though.
