Recently, Jon Jones struck a plea agreement in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was involved in a hit-and-run incident back in April, which led to him getting arrested and suspended from the UFC. His plea agreement requires that he performs community service and tons of charity work. Unsurprisingly, the UFC reviewed this agreement and decided to reinstate him.
Jon Jones back in the UFC means that a lot of fighters are on notice. Without a doubt Jones is going to want his title back sooner rather than later. It’s a bit odd that he’s back after a hit-and-run accident, while Nick Diaz is suspended for 5 years due to marijuana, but that’s a debate for another time.
Bottom line: Jon Jones is back!
