On the February 19th edition of The Joe Rogan Experience, Joe Rogan told new UFC analyst Robin Black that it is best to learn BJJ from a small guy who isn’t imposing. His belief is that smaller instructors, who aren’t physically imposing, are forced to be more technical than larger BJJ instructors who could still rely on size. Rogan recommended learning from well-known light and featherweight legends like Eddie Bravo, Baret Yoshida, Royler Gracie, and the Mendes brothers.
