Joe Rogan is a man of many talents. As well as commentating for the UFC, he is a podcast host, stand up comedian, and a keen hunter and archer. The forty-eight year old former kickboxer keeps himself in great shape too, although some may question the wisdom of his approach to fitness. While it is strictly forbidden in mixed martial arts (MMA) contests, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is something that Rogan uses every week. He claims that doing this makes him feel good about defying death and old age. If he is feeling low on a morning, he takes Nuvigil too – which is a similar drug that pilots take to improve their concentration. Rogan has long campaigned for marijuana to be legalized, and he also enjoys experimenting with dimethyltryptamine (DMT). This drug is often referred to as a ‘spirit molecule’, due to the wild hallucinations it induces.
Joe Rogan Quote from Rolling Stone
“He shoots himself up with testosterone on a weekly basis — “It’s what fighters get in trouble for, but, obviously, I’m not competing. I just like the idea that I’m cheating old age and death, although, you know, you can’t cheat it forever”— as well as human growth hormone. If he’s dragging a little, he’ll pop a Nuvigil, a variant of the focus-improving drug that fighter pilots use.”
