Featured in KMBC you will be surprised to hear of what happens when “3 Robbers Bust a Homeowner’s Door Down. ” It was in Kansas City, Missouri, where three young men, still in their teens, kicked open Nathan Engert’s front door. They made themselves quite at home as they looked around the living room for things they intended to carry away with them. What they did not expect was the homeowner to be there during a week day. Shocked to find themselves face to face with Engert they made a quick exit, but not before they were caught on the homeowner’s security camera.
Engert, who was nearly robbed the previous year, decided to install a security camera within the premises of his house. This turned out to be an excellent idea as it recorded the whole incident and will help the police identify the suspects. Nathan Engert, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Blue Belt, says that the perpetrators were probably more shocked and scared to see him than the other way around. He shared the incident with the public in the hope that others would not find themselves in a similar situation, and would take steps to protect their homes. NA
