Given the havoc being wreaked by the wildfires currently happening in Australia, there have been many efforts to raise money to help the situation. A group of elite U.S. grapplers are doing their part to help raise money for those affected.
This coming Sunday in Orlando, Florida at Xtreme Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Dan Martinez, Enrico Cocco, James Brasco, Quentin Rosenzweig, and Tex Johnson will be putting on a seminar. The cost will be a minimum $40 donation, and all proceeds will be donated to the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) and the Australian Red Cross, and receipts for donations will be accepted in lieu of cash at the door.
Martinez is a multiple-time EBI veteran, No-Gi World Champion, and ADCC vet. Brasco is a multiple time ADCC vet and won No-Gi Worlds as a brown belt. Rozensweig is a multiple-time EBI vet and Onnit Invitational champion. Johnson is an ADCC Trials winner, three-time No-Gi Pans champ, and the only U.S. competitor to ever submit Felipe Pena.
These five grapplers will each bring their own unique sets of skills and experiences and share them in an effort to raise money to help with the Australian wildfires. For more information reach out to Rosenzweig or Xtreme Gracie Jiu-Jitsu on Facebook or Instagram.
