Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard about the UC Berkeley riots started over controversial speaker and Breitbart tech editor Milo Yiannopoulos.
What you probably did not hear about was how WSOF and former UFC fighter Jake Shields was not going to stand by and let a bunch of violent “thugs” protesting the event beat an innocent man.
In a video posted on Twitter, Shields is seen talking to two of the masked protesters.
“Dude, you guys have your faces covered, you’re attacking people, you’re being ******* fascists,” Shields said to one of the protesters. “Look at you guys, you’re ******* embarrassing.”
A lot of the video is inaudible because of background noise, but one of the protesters tried to defend himself by saying, “I came here to make sure you were okay, and I didn’t touch that guy,” referring to an old man Shields claimed was jumped.
Jake told the masked men that he was not going to stand by and let “20 people” jump a guy.
Despite his issues with the protesters, Shields did not having anything good to say about the police either, claiming that they just stood by and did nothing.
You can watch the entire video below.
