Injured? Don’t Miss Training – Watch & Learn From Your Training Partners’ Rolls

So you’ve gotten injured for one reason or another… And now you can’t roll. Heck, you might not even be able to drill any techniques either – and so you’re thinking about missing out on training, until you feel better. Sure, you could do that. You could wait it out. But if you want to keep improving even as you’re injured, then you should come to training regardless – and watch & learn from your training partners’ rolls . Brian Glick explains why: Over the years there have been plenty of times when I’ve learned as much from watching other people’s successes and errors as I have in practicing to improve my own skills. Done well, it’s more than just casually looking around the room to watch victories and defeats. It’s like reviewing a case-study in tactics, techniques and strategies. Glick elaborated further: You learn not only from your own effort – you also learn from the trials and errors of those around you. It’s a great skill to develop if you can’t participate but you don’t have to wait until then to make use of it.   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by Brian Glick (@bzglick) So what will you do now?
