Hyperfly To Donate Portion Of September’s Proceeds To Help Firefighters In California

As wildfires blaze across the west coast, countless lives (both human and animal) have been changed forever, and firefighters are putting their lives on the line. Many people have been searching for ways to help, and now, jiu-jitsu apparel company Hyperfly is coming up with their own way to assist in these tough times, focusing on the families of fallen and injured firefighters in California.

The company, which is based in California, announced on social media that 10 percent of all their sales in September would be split between two different organizations: the California Fire Foundation (CFF) and the Wildland Firefighter Foundation (WFF).

The CFF describes its mission as “providing emotional and financial assistance to families of fallen firefighters, firefighters and the communities they protect.” The WFF describes its mission as “to help families of firefighters killed in the line of duty and to assist injured firefighters and their families.”

If you’re in the market for some new jiu-jitsu gear, your purchase could help out a good cause. You can also donate to the CFF here and the WFF here.
