How about a Half-Guard Sweep Using the Knee?

In Jiu-Jitsu, when an opponent manages to pry open your guard, he tends to end up in your half-guard, with just one leg between your two. What now? What do you do when he tries clutching your head and squashing his way past?

Your first stance should be to keep him from getting a grip on your lapel, as our GMA Nathan Adamson of Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu teaches us direct from Seaside, Oregon.

So what do you think? Did the position make your half-guard all the more dangerous? Did it work with your game? Comment below.
