Gracie Jiu-Jitsu For Federal Law Enforcement Officers

Yesterday, the Jiu-Jitsu Times posted a of video of an unarmed man pushing around three Swedish police officers.

America seems to have the opposite problem. Some police officers in the Land of the Free are using far too much force, particularly against African Americans. The results of such force have been deadly and have sparked nationwide protests from civil rights groups such as Black Lives Matter.

Gracie Barra, easily the biggest name in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, is looking to find a happy medium between weak law “enforcement” and brute force. Their system of law enforcement uses an effective form of non-lethal control meant to effectively suspect’s, but in a way that protects both the officer’s and the suspect’s safety.
