The IBJJF held another of its signature events last Saturday.
The Chicago Winter International Open was a hit, with athletes showcasing great technique and heart.
As usual, GMA members took the center of the stage and got a hold of lots of medals.
Here are the list of professors that fought in the windy city and walked out with some metal hanging from their necks.
Renato Tavares (ATT Vero Beach) was open class and featherweight senior 1 black belt champion.
Marcos Barros (GB Springfield) was the medium heavy adult black belt champion.
Marcos’ brother, Beto Barros (GB The Loop), was the medium heavy adult black belt runner up.
Other than that, many GMA members academy had students competing. Here are those who managed to win some hardware.
