Georges St-Pierre is back, everyone!
The confirmation has come from the UFC’s head honcho himself, President Dana White:
Dana White just made it official to me: @GeorgesStPierre is back in the UFC. Signed deal. More soon at @latimessports …

White also told LA Times:
He’s back. I’m excited. We worked at it for a long time and finally got it done.”
When asked whom GSP would face in his return fight, White had a couple of ideas:
“It could be the winner [of the March 4 welterweight title fight] between Tyron Woodley and Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson, or it could be [middleweight champion] Michael Bisping,” White said. “Georges has also talked about fighting at 155 pounds [lightweight]. He says he can make the weight.
“But I have no idea when he’s going to fight right now. We don’t have anything booked and literally haven’t talked to anybody about it.”
Anderson Silva also offered his services, telling Fox News that he thinks a super fight between himself and GSP would be “great.” Silva vs GSP was, of course, one of the most talked about matches in MMA history when both fighters were at the top of their divisions. Whether the fight would still draw the crowds it would have drawn four or five years ago will remain to be seen.
Georges “Rush” St-Pierre is widely considered one of the best MMA fighters of all time. He only lost twice in his 27-fight MMA career and holds the record for most wins in UFC title fights.
