It looks like Fabricio Werdum, the former UFC heavyweight champion is in the best shape of his life, following his departure from MMA organization PFL.
The 45-year-old Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt world and ADCC world champion has confirmed that his contract with PFL is over.
About an eventual return to MMA, Werdum stated:
“If that happens in the future, give me some time to train and I would definitely do it. It could be [Francis] Ngannou, [Junior dos Santos] ‘Cigano’, it could be anyone. Maybe even [Cain] Velasquez coming back now. I don’t even know if he will.”
Werdum certainly is in fighting shape as he sowed off his incredible new physique in a recent video.

This may mean that the 45 year still has some fights left in him but it remains to be seen whether the former UFC heavyweight champion will end up signing another MMA deal, or possibly a boxing or bare knuckle boxing bout.
