Both former heavyweight UFC champions, Cain Velasquez and Fabrício Werdum may be doing a highly anticipated rematch at UFC 207, scheduled for the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. MMA Junkie reports they have both agreed to the duel. Werdum and Velasquez met at UFC 188 in July of last year, and Werdum unified the titles as he guillotined Velasquez in R3.
Werdum lost the title in his next bout, vs. Stipe Miocic, via KO at UFC 198 last May. On September 10, Werdum beat Travis Browne at UFC 203 via decision. Cain Velasquez also comes off a win over Browne, at UFC 200 last July. That was Velasquez’s first bout after losing the title to Werdum.
